20 New Books by 27 Young Authors: Our October Launch

On Sunday 25 October, 27 young authors are launching 20 new books, all at once, on one stage. The youngest is 5. The oldest is 15. Every story in every one of these books was written by a child, and every one of them kept the child's own voice. We edited just enough that a reader never stumbles, and never so much that the young writer starts to sound like an adult.

This is the biggest launch we have ever done, and we would love you to be there.

Come to the launch

  • When: Sunday, 25 October 2026, 11 am to 12:30 pm
  • Where: Akshara Theatre, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, New Delhi
  • RSVP: on WhatsApp to Shefali, 81302 86286

The authors will be there to sign copies. If you know one of them, come and cheer. If you don't, come anyway: there is nothing quite like watching a seven year old sign their own book for a stranger.

Why a launch matters

A book that sits in a box at home is a lovely thing. A book that a child reads aloud to a room, then signs for someone they have never met, is something else. It is the moment a child stops being someone who writes and becomes an author. That is what Sunday is for.

Want your child to be next?

Every one of these authors started with a single idea and a parent who said yes. If your child has a story in them, see how it works, or message us on WhatsApp. We would love to meet them.
