Almost none of those characters ever become a book, because the gap between drawing a character and finishing a comic is enormous and nobody shows a child how to cross it. How old is your child?
Every child in this course is older than Pilkey was and younger than the boys who made Superman. None of them started with talent your child does not have. They had a way to finish, and that is what we teach.

Every session produces one real piece of the book that our press is waiting for. Session 2 produces the cast sheet, session 4 the page by page script, session 5 the thumbnail map. Those are the three most authorial decisions in any comic, nobody can make them for a child, and they are exactly what our artists need before they can start.

If you want to add one afterwards it is ₹38,990, which is ₹43,990 less a ₹5,000 credit for the classes already paid for. That stands while the cohort runs and for 60 days after the book ships, and their anthology pages still run in the shared book, so they end up with two books.

The book gets made as they go. Each session produces one real piece of it, so by the last one the story is finished rather than started.
- 02 · The two one to ones
Private time with the mentor to get the artwork over the line, once the story is settled and they know exactly what they are drawing.

The one real deadline. The anthology is a shared book, so a late contributor holds up eight other families, and we hold it.
- 04 · We make it a book
Bukmuk inks, colours, letters, lays out, proofreads and designs the cover. Their line, cleaned and printed, never redrawn.

What day and time are the sessions?
We have not fixed them. Cohort 1 is four to five children and the schedule is set with the families who join, which is why the form asks which slots suit you. We confirm the time on WhatsApp once the batch is together.

How do you handle payment?
In full and in advance, before the first session. We do not run instalments or part payments. If you add a book of their own later, that fee is due before work on the book starts.
What if my child misses a session?
Tell us and we will work around it. Every session produces one concrete piece of the book, so nothing is skipped, it is caught up. The one to one sessions are the usual place we do that.
Is my child old enough, or too old?
The course runs for ages 9 to 16. Dav Pilkey invented Captain Underpants at 8. Siegel and Shuster invented Superman at 17. Every child in this course sits between them.
