i.Why parents enrol

What your child actually leaves with.

Four shifts every parent has told us they noticed — between day one and the day the book arrives.

Outcome 01

Identity and pride

A genuine connection to where they come from — carried in stories they'll remember for life.

Outcome 02

Wisdom through stories

A value mined from each epic; festivals woven in as the calendar.

Outcome 03

My Roots Storybook

A beautiful weekly workbook that doubles as their book's manuscript.

Outcome 04

A published retelling

A printed book of their own Krishna or Rama story to show grandparents in India.

ii.The program offer

Everything included in USD 199 – 349.

No tiers. No add-ons. No surprise printing fees. One price, and the entire publishing journey is in it.

01

The great stories

Ramayana, Mahabharata, Panchatantra and Jataka, saint-poets and festival myths.

02

Two age bands

Story Explorers (7–10), playful and make-and-do; Roots & Ideas (11–16), discussion-led.

03

Secular & open to all

Wisdom and values delivered through culture — meaning behind traditions, never religion-as-faith.

04

Publish their retelling

Each child writes and illustrates a myth retelling, published via Bukmuk.

iii.How it runs

How a story becomes a book.

The same rhythm published authors use — broken into phases a child can actually keep up with.

  1. Phase 1Session 1

    Welcome to Bharat

India as the land of a thousand stories — each child picks a Story Seed. Value: curiosity & belonging.

  2. Phase 2Session 2

    The Ramayana

Rama's journey, Hanuman, the bridge to Lanka. You can visit: Ayodhya, Rameswaram. Value: courage, loyalty, keeping your word.

  3. Phase 3Session 3

    The Mahabharata

The great choice and the game of dice. You can visit: Kurukshetra, Hampi. Value: choices have consequences.

  4. Phase 4Session 4

    Clever Tales

Panchatantra & Jataka animal fables. Value: wisdom, wit and kindness beat brute strength.

  5. Phase 5Session 5

    Festivals of Light & Colour

Diwali, Holi, Pongal/Onam. You can visit: Varanasi & the Ganga ghats. Value: renewal and gratitude.

  6. Phase 6Session 6

    Songs of the Heart

Krishna, Hanuman and the saint-poets. Value: devotion, humility, everyday goodness.

  7. Phase 7Session 7

My India — Wonders & Sacred Places

Monuments and holy sites across faiths and regions. Value: identity & pride.

  8. Phase 8Session 8

    Tell Your Own Tale

Finish, illustrate and publish your retelling, with a live showcase for family. Value: your voice matters.
