Write a short story. Become a published author.
Mentor-led creative writing for children aged 7–16. Your child ends the program holding a real printed book — their story, their name on the cover, listed on Amazon.
No tiers, no add-ons, no surprise printing fees.
- From blank page to finished story
- Stronger school writing
- Confidence that shows up everywhere
Every past cohort's book is live on Amazon — we share the links on your first call.

What your child actually leaves with.
Four shifts every parent has told us they noticed — between day one and the day the book arrives.
From blank page to finished story
Most kids freeze at the blank page. Our framework breaks storytelling into bite-size moves — character, conflict, surprise, ending — so children always know the next step.
Stronger school writing
Parents tell us essays, comprehension, and creative-writing marks all go up. The same structure that builds a short story builds a sharper paragraph.
Confidence that shows up everywhere
Holding a printed book with your name on it changes how a child sees themselves. Teachers notice. Friends ask. Self-belief stops being abstract.
A real, permanent achievement
An ISBN-listed book is searchable on Amazon forever. Years from now, college applications, internships, and family bookshelves still carry it.
Children who started exactly here are on Amazon today.
Every child finishes a story of their own.

Live creative-thinking & writing sessions
Small-group classes where children brainstorm characters, invent worlds, and shape real story arcs — guided by published authors and editors.
1-on-1 mentoring with an editor
Every child gets personalised feedback on their draft. We don't grade — we coach. The goal is a story your child is genuinely proud of.
End-to-end publishing support
We handle editing, design, ISBN, and printing. Parents and kids never see a spreadsheet of fees — everything is included in the workshop price.
A professionally hosted book launch
Each child gets a moment on stage at a real launch event — reading aloud, signing copies, and posing with family. Memories that last decades.
Anthology listed on Amazon.in & Amazon.com
This cohort's anthology is a paperback, perfect-bound, ISBN-listed book — your child's name and story inside, available worldwide.
2 author copies + signed certificate
Two complimentary printed copies of the book delivered to your home, plus an official 'Published Author' certificate for the wall.
Author landing page on bukmuk.com
A dedicated author profile page with your child's photo, bio, and book — a shareable link for grandparents, friends, and school records.
How a story becomes a book.
The same rhythm published authors use — broken into phases a child can actually keep up with.
- Phase 14 live sessions
Live group sessions
Four mentor-led online group sessions for ages 7–16 — creative-thinking warm-ups, character building, drafting, and editorial coaching across the four meets. Choose the Weekday (Thursday) or Weekend (Saturday) batch; same curriculum either way.
- Phase 2Alongside the sessions
1-on-1 mentoring with an editor
Personalised one-on-one sessions with an editor, scheduled by mutual availability alongside your batch. Sentence-level rewrites, opening hooks, satisfying endings.
- Phase 3After the batch
Publish — Author readiness
Author photo, bio, and read-aloud rehearsal for the launch. Anthology goes to press the fortnight after the workshop ends.
The details that make it real.
The part parents didn't see coming.
“We dismissed her first draft — we didn't even think she was this imaginative. But with the Bukmuk team's encouragement, Vedika has written a complete book. We still can't quite believe it.”
Read her book →“Riddhi started with one small story. She has since published three, and her own book is on the way.”
“Aarav held the book in his hands and just stared at it. He keeps telling everyone he is a 'published author' now. It has changed how he sees writing.”
“I expected a writing class. I did not expect editorial-grade feedback and a real book on Amazon. The price is honestly criminal for what you get.”
“My daughter never finished anything she started. She finished this story. That itself was worth the fee.”
Tell us about your child, and we'll write back.
Entries for the new cohort are open for ages 7 – 16 years. Send us a line about your young author and a real person will reply — we'll talk you through how it works and answer what you want to ask. Nothing to pay to raise your hand.
- A real person replies, not an autoresponder

This is how it ends — on a stage, with a real book.

Questions parents always ask first.
Q.01What exactly is my child paying ₹6,999 for?
4 live mentor-led online group sessions, 2 one-on-one editorial mentoring sessions, full publishing of the anthology (editing, design, ISBN, printing, Amazon listing), two printed author copies delivered to your home, an author certificate, a professionally hosted launch event, and an author profile page on bukmukpublishing.com. There are no add-on charges.
Q.02My child has never written a story before. Is this for them?
Yes — most of our participants are first-time writers. The program is built around prompts, scaffolding, and 1-on-1 mentoring precisely so a beginner can produce a finished story they're proud of by the end of the cohort. We have never had a child not finish.
Q.03Is it really an Amazon book or just a private printing?
It is a real ISBN-listed paperback distributed through Amazon.in and Amazon.com, searchable by your child's name. We can share links to past cohort books on the first call so you can see exactly what your child will be part of.
Q.04What is the age range, and when are the sessions?
Ages 7 to 16, in small groups of ten children. Entries for the new cohort are open — register your interest and we will come back to you with the timings and check they suit you before anything is confirmed. Every cohort is 4 live online sessions plus 1-on-1 mentoring, and the small size is what lets us pitch feedback to each child's own age and level.
Q.05What if my child misses a session?
Missed 1-on-1 mentoring slots can be rescheduled directly with the mentor on WhatsApp. We never penalise a child for missing — we just catch them up.
Q.06What tech do we need?
A laptop, tablet, or phone with Zoom, a working camera, and a stable internet connection. A quiet corner helps for the 1-on-1 sessions.
Q.07How and when do we pay?
Not yet, and not to register interest. Tell us about your child first and we will write back with how the program would work for them. Payment only comes up once a group is confirmed and you have decided to go ahead, and you can pay by UPI, card, netbanking or bank transfer — WhatsApp us on +91 81302 86286 and we will send whatever suits you.
Q.08My child already has a story or manuscript. Can you publish it independently?
Absolutely. We offer dedicated solo-book publishing packages separately. Tell us during the reservation form and we'll share both options so you can pick the right fit.
